Frequently Asked Questions

If you cannot find an answer to your question, please reach out to us. We would be more than happy to help you!

A bath appointment includes a bath, deshedding, clipping nails, plucking and cleaning ears, as well as trimming of the feet, pads, and sanitary if applicable to the breed.

A full groom includes all of the above plus an outline trim or full body haircut depending on coat and breed,

Our bath or full groom appointments do not include nail grinding, teeth brushing, dematting, flea and tick shampoo, or paw balm. These services can be added to any bath or full groom for an extra fee.

No. Both of these services should be done by a licensed veterinarian and are out of our scope of expertise.

No, we do not offer grooming services for our feline friends.

We recommend scheduling your pups first grooming appointment no later than 12 weeks of age. The first 1-5 times your pup visits we will do training and exposure to get them prepared for grooming. Grooming training is just as important as basic obedience and house training!

We recommend bringing your pup in for grooming every 4-8 weeks depending on coat type and coat length.

All of our services require an appointment. This is because we do not have set operating hours and want to be sure someone is here to serve you.

We ask that pups be dropped off no more than 15 minutes prior to their appointment time.

We ask that pups be picked up within 1 hour of being notified that they are completed.

For the safety of you, our staff, your pet, and the other pets in our care, we do not allow customers in the grooming areas. If you wish to wait for your pup we ask that you do so at our picnic table or in your vehicle.

Yes, as long as your pup is cleared by a vet to be groomed we can accommodate them. That said, please be realistic in your expectations. Older pups and pups with special needs can often be difficult to groom. This means that they may not have a perfect polished groom as their comfort will always come first. These pups may also incur an extra fee if assistance is needed to complete the groom.

We do require proof of an updated rabies vaccination.

Yes. However, we do not groom pets with aggression or bite history that are over 30lbs due to the safety risks involved. Please be realistic in your expectations when it comes to aggressive and difficult pups. Their comfort and safety is what is most important to us so these pups may not receive a perfect and polished groom.  These pups may also incur an extra fee if assistance is needed to complete the groom.

We use both where applicable. Most of the pups we groom are completely dried by hand. However, if a pup is fearful or aggressive for hand drying we may opt to kennel dry for the pups comfort. Our kennel driers are NOT heated, the kennel area is kept cooled with it's own AC unit, and pups are checked on regularly by staff.

We can be contacted via phone, email, or facebook. Facebook messenger will always result in the fastest response.
